Research Analyst

Olejniczak assists with study design, works closely with program staff members to provide program and evaluation support, creates tools for monitoring program and study implementation, and plans and conducts field research. Current projects include the Rent Reform demonstration for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which alters the rent rules in the Housing Choice Voucher Program to allow families to keep more of their earnings, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training Evaluation, which assesses the extent to which various types of services help food stamp recipients improve their economic outcomes. Before joining MDRC, Olejniczak was an intern for the U.S. Senate Office of Max Baucus and worked for the U.S. Census Bureau.  Olejniczak holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Montana.
